Ltd organised the Yoplait \/ Candia Sports Medicine Programme Hassan Raffa State Secondary School at Terre Rouge on Wednesday 23 May 2018 in the presence of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mr. Mahamad Akeel Bundhoo, Rector &amp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff of the Mauritius Sports Council<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The objectives of the talks are to make the students aware of the benefits of Sports, proper physical activities and a good nutrition for maintaining a healthy life style.&nbsp;&nbsp;An Ice Box, a First Aid Kit and Sports Equipment were offered to the Institution for use. Booklets and flyers on sensitization program were offered to all participants.&nbsp;The Resource Persons proceeded with the talks as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Good nutrition,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>presented byMs. Dina Gyaram;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>The Importance of Physical Activities\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>presented by Mr. Michel Chang Kye, Physiotherapist, Chairman Medical \/ Paramedical Committee of the Mauritius Sports Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;123 participants of Grade 7 attended the talks.&nbsp;A quiz was held with questions related to the talks on Sports Medicine at the end of the programme.
