Yoplait / Candia Sports Medicine Programme in Rodrigues for Year 2016
The Mauritius Sports Council in collaboration with Panagora Marketing Co. Ltd (represented by Brands Yoplait & Candia) organised the Yoplait / Candia Sports Medicine Programme in Rodrigues from 17 to 20 May 2016. The delegation was composed of:

- Ms. Magalie KARUPPANEN, Representative of the Brand Yoplait & Candia;
- Ms. Aurore LAM, Representative of the Brand Yoplait & Candia;
- Mr. Eddy Michel Chang Kye, Physiotherapist, Chairman of the Medical Committee & Board
- Member of the Mauritius Sports Council;
- Mr. Seewanand TANNOO and Mr. Daniel Gerard BEEHAREE, Board Members of the Mauritius Sports Council;

In line with the Board decision, the Mauritius Sports Council visited the Primary and Secondary Schools / Senior Citizens, Women Associations situated in very remote areas, thus giving the opportunity to the students and members of the public to benefit from the sessions and bring awareness on a healthy life style. The Talks on Sports Medicine were held at the under mentioned School / College, Women’s Association and Senior Citizen Association for period 17 to 20 May 2016.

During her stay in Rodrigues, Mrs. Sarah Rawat Currimjee had a fruitful working session with Mr. Ismael Valimamode, Commisioner of Health and Sports and Mr. Volbert, Sports Officer. The Chairperson accompanied by Board Members visited Community Centres namely Montagne Goyave, Mont Charlot and Arau. A courtesy visit was also organised with Mrs. Emilien, Head of Education Commission for Education and to Mr. Christio Auguste, Education Inspector.
